About the Role: The Goddard Schools located in Greenville and Simpsonville is looking for a passionate and experienced Preschool Director to lead our team of dedicated early childhood educators. Responsibilities:
Oversee daily school operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment
Recruit, hire, train, and mentor teaching staff and support personnel
Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, NAEYC standards, and Goddard School franchise guidelines
Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and engagement
Manage school budget, enrollment, and administrative functions
Develop and implement curriculum programs aligned with play-based, child-centered learning philosophies
Conduct staff evaluations, professional development planning, and performance management
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an early childhood leadership or director role
Knowledge of South Carolina childcare licensing regulations and compliance standards
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Experience with enrollment management, budgeting, and school administration
Passion for play-based learning and early childhood development best practices
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
