    Job Description

    Lakewood City schools is seeking a Monday-Thursday, 7.5 hours per day, 12 hour unpaid lunch, Preschool Classroom Assistant Para-Professional position for employment for the 2025-2026 school year.

    Qualified candidate will be assigned to Lakewood City Schools. Childcare experience preferred.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    1. High School Diploma
    2. Minimum of an educational aide certificate required.
    3. Prior experience working in an educational classroom setting preferably preschool.
    4. Demonstrated aptitude for the tasks involved.
    5. Be courteous, tactful, and understanding of young people.
    6. Desire ability and patience to assist and work with students.
    7. Knowledge of CPR, First Aid, and Communicable Diseases.

    All applications must be submitted through Applitrack. Lakewood personnel will be doing interviews.
