Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Any combination of the following would provide a typical way to obtain the required knowledges, skills and abilities: Education /Training 12 Core Early Childhood / Child Development units including CHILD/HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT; CHILD, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY; PROGRAM/CURRICULUM Preferred: AA or BA with 24 Early Childhood/Child Development units Experience: Desired: Two years of experience working in a child development program including experience in development of curriculum and implementation of all program elements related to running a quality classroom for preschool age children. License or Certificate: Possession of current pediatric/adult CPR and First Aid Certificate Highly Desired: Child Development Permit issued by the California Commission on Teaching PLEASE ATTACH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS TO YOUR EDJOIN APPLICATION: 1. California Child Development Permit (preferred but not required) 2. Copy of Transcripts to verify 12 Core ECE units (Title 22 Requirements) 12 Core ECE units must include: CHILD/HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT; CHILD, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY; PROGRAM/CURRICULUM (attach a copy of the transcript to verify these units) 3. Valid CPR/First Aid certification
