Preschool Lead Teacher - Early Childhood Education

Location: The Learning Experience - Clarkston, MI

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (based on experience and credentials)

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience - Clarkston is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead Teacher to create an engaging classroom where children build confidence, independence, and the early academic skills they need for kindergarten.

Were looking for an educator who enjoys taking ownership of a classroom, creating meaningful learning experiences, and working collaboratively with families and fellow teachers.

What Youll Do

• Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities

• Implement The Learning Experiences L.E.A.P. Curriculum

• Support early literacy, math, language, creativity, and social-emotional development

• Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships

• Guide and support Assistant Teachers

• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom

• Observe childrens development and communicate regularly with families

• Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Previous professional preschool or childcare experience required

• Lead Teacher experience preferred

• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework strongly preferred

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
