Pay: $22-$24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
The Learning Experience - Milford is seeking an experienced Preschool Lead Teacher who loves turning everyday moments into opportunities for children to explore, question, create, and learn.
You'll lead a classroom where preschoolers build early academic skills while developing the confidence, independence, communication, and friendships that prepare them for kindergarten and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily Preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Create engaging experiences supporting literacy, math, science, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
- Encourage independence, problem-solving, communication, and positive peer relationships
- Use positive guidance and consistent classroom routines
- Observe and document children's development
- Guide and support Assistant Teachers
- Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
- Follow Massachusetts EEC requirements
Qualifications
- Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to serve as a Preschool Lead Teacher
- Professional Preschool or early childhood classroom experience required
- Lead Teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and children's development
