Key Responsibilities

- Lead mentor and coach, co-teachers, model best practices, and provide supportive feedback
- Manage all aspects of classroom operations to create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment
- Inspire a love of learning using a growth mindset and positive guidance
- Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum for toddlers and preschoolers, adapting activities to meet individual child needs
- Communicate daily with families about learning milestones and classroom experiences
- Partner with center leadership to meet quality engagement and enrollment goals
- Build meaningful relationships with coworkers and families to support a collaborative community
Qualifications

- ECE certification required
- At least 6 months of professional teaching experience required (1 year preferred)
- Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred (high school diploma or GED required)
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet Massachusetts state childcare licensing requirements
