Preschool Paraprofessional

The Boonville R-I School District has an opening for a Preschool Paraprofessional for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a 9-month position with full benefits. The paraprofessional will work daily in a preschool classroom alongside a lead teacher and approximately 17 students, primarily age 4. Responsibilities will include supporting classroom instruction, assisting students with daily routines and activities, and helping provide a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

• Position: Preschool Paraprofessional
• Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, 7:25 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Calendar: Follows the Boonville R-I School District calendar
• Length: 9-month position
• Benefits: Full benefits
• Classroom: Preschool classroom with approximately 17 students

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate OR be willing to take and pass the ETS ParaPathways assessment by September 2, 2026.
