Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your classroom.
- Implementing lesson plans and curriculum.
- Overseeing any assistants in the classroom.
- Observing and evaluating children.
- Interacting with parents, addressing concerns, and providing support.
- Keeping your classroom clean, clutter-free, and materials sanitized.
Qualifications:
- CDA required or higher degree (required)
- Experienced working with children (required)
- Early Childhood Education: 3-5 Years
- EEC Certification

About Little Beginnings Child Development Center:
At Little Beginnings, we believe that great things start small — and that includes careers! Founded in 1986 by a group of passionate parents who wanted something more meaningful than traditional daycare, Little Beginnings is a non-profit, year-round, full-day parent cooperative childcare center in the heart of Arlington. What began as a bold vision by five moms in 1983 has grown into a thriving learning community where children, families, and educators grow together.
We’re more than just a childcare center — we’re a place where you can make a lasting impact. Our inclusive environment serves children from 3 months to 5 years old and offers integrated classrooms that support children with and without disabilities, thanks to our partnership with Arlington Public Schools’ Preschool Integrated Program. Speech, occupational, and physical therapy services are also available on-site for eligible students.
