Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA)

Looking for a rewarding way to support our youngest learners? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential FMLA coverage for a preschool population in Chicago Ridge, IL for the 2026-2027 school year!

Position Overview: 

• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for preschool-aged students to support early communication development.
• Manage a preschool caseload while maintaining compliant documentation, progress reports, and service minutes.
• Partner with families, classroom teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication goals into the daily learning environment.
• Opportunities to facilitate smooth transitions for students entering or exiting services during the FMLA coverage periods (8/17/26 - 11/6/26 and 10/12/26 - 1/8/27).

Qualifications: 

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) endorsement
• Prior experience working with preschool-aged students (Preferred)
