At Kamaina Kids, we know that great early childhood education is built on strong relationships—between teachers, children, families, and the wider community. We’re currently seeking caring, experienced educators to join our preschool team in Kailua.

$500 New Hire Bonus • Full & Part Time, Monday- Friday

The role

Depending on your experience and qualifications, you may work as a Preschool Teacher, Infant/Toddler Caregiver, or support staff member. In every role, you will:

• Guide development through play, exploration, and daily routines

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Pay & Growth Opportunities

• Preschool Aide: $17–$18.50 per hour

• Infant/Toddler Caregiver: $19–$21 per hour

• Preschool Teacher: $22–$25 per hour

Grow with Us: Not quite qualified for a Teacher role yet? Start as an Aide or Caregiver and we’ll support your growth. We cover the cost of your CDA (Child Development Associate) and provide the training and experience needed to advance your career.

Qualifications

Preschool Aide:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

• A love for working with children and willingness to learn

Infant/Toddler Caregiver:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

• 1–2 years of experience working with children ages 2 and under in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

Preschool Teacher:

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

• PATCH-qualified (or eligible), including:

  • CDA (Child Development Associate), OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field

• 6–12 months of experience working in a licensed childcare or preschool setting

Schedule & Locations

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Kailua & Kaneohe area preschools

• Weekday daytime hours (no nights or weekends)
