Position Summary
Explorers Learning Academy is seeking a caring, energetic Preschool Teacher for our 3-year-old classroom. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where young learners can grow and explore.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate learning activities for 3-year-old children
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain daily classroom routines including meals, nap time, and transitions
- Communicate regularly with parents about children’s progress and needs
- Ensure classroom cleanliness and follow all center policies and safety procedures
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting through Texas Child Care Regulation
- Must obtain Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification
- Must complete required childcare training and professional development hours as required by
