Preschool Teacher Assistant

Noah’s Ark Preschool is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Assistant to join our team! We are currently seeking someone for a morning assistant position, as well as someone who is available to work two afternoon shifts each week.

For over 43 years, Noah’s Ark Preschool has been a part of the Ojai community, providing a nurturing and engaging environment where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to become part of a close-knit school community.

Position Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Engage with children through play, exploration, and learning activities
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment
• Support children with daily routines, including meals, outdoor play, and transitions
• Work cooperatively with teachers and other staff members
• Help create a positive and nurturing experience for every child

Compensation

Pay rate is based on experience and the number of Early Childhood Education (ECE) units completed. Additional education, experience, and qualifications may be considered when determining starting pay.
