As a Teacher at the Primrose School of Castle Rock, youll create a fun, safe environment with a daily schedule designed to develop childrens confidence and independence. Our Teachers guide infants and preschool-aged children through small group instruction as they grow their ability to absorb new content and understand increasingly complex information.

Benefits
Hourly compensation depending on experience and education 500 Signing Bonus after 90 days
Assistant Teacher: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Lead Teacher: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
Set Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm Closed Weekends, Nights, and Holidays Paid Time Off: PTO - 80 hours annually Sick Leave: up to 48 hours annually Paid Week Off for Winter Break (week of Christmas) Paid Holidays

Qualifications
Must meet credential requirements from Colorado Shines Assistant Teacher: PDIS Level 1 Lead Teacher: PDIS Level 2 or EQUIT Pyramid Plus ECE 101 303 ASBS Degree in ECE or equivalent 1-3 years experience teaching in a licensed early education program, PreK, preschool childcare, or day care Knowledge of the social-emotional and creative needs of young children Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.

Responsibilities
Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children. Assesses each childs developmental needs on an ongoing basis. Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming. Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations. Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions with confidence. Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School of Castle Rock and the local state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children in childcare or daycare.
