As a Preschool Teacher at Primrose School of East Brunswick, you’ll help children build confidence, curiosity, independence, and a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.


We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate educator who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and building meaningful relationships with children and families.


Position Details

• Full-Time: 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on education and years of experience
• Classroom: Preschool
• Experience: 3–5 years in a preschool or childcare setting preferred
• Education: 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
  
  

What You’ll Do

• Implement the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum through engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Lead and manage the daily classroom experience while maintaining a positive, structured environment
• Support each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Create a classroom that encourages curiosity, creativity, independence, and confidence
• Observe and assess children’s developmental progress
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
• Participate in parent-teacher conferences, evaluations, staff meetings, training, and school events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Most importantly, make learning fun while helping children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn!
  
  

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Passionate about early childhood education
• Experience working with preschool and Pre-K children
• Warm, patient, professional, and dependable
• A strong communicator and collaborative team player
• Organized and confident managing a busy classroom
• Knowledgeable about the social, emotional, and developmental needs of young children
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as required for child care and safety
