Immunization Requirement

(SB 792) requires preschool teachers to be immunized against pertussis and measles and to receive an influenza vaccination between August 1 and December 1 of each year.

Requirements / Qualifications

Child Development Permit (Teacher level or higher) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (A multiple subject credential is acceptable as long as your bachelor s degree is in Child Development.)

• Certificate Copy (Child Development Teacher Permit or Multiple Subject Credential with transcripts showing Bachelor s Degree in Child Development)
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Letter of Introduction
• Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters required)
