Preschool Teacher

TEACHER

B-4 School Learning Center is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic co-teacher to join our thriving and highly collaborative early childhood program. The TEACHER will be responsible for teaching and supervising the children in a small classroom setting, working with a team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and an enthusiasm for the early childhood education profession.

Duties Include:

• Developing meaningful relationships with parents, children, and other educators
• Providing a hands-on approach to teaching each child through activities such as: reading, writing, math, science, music, dance, and nature exploration
• Training and conditioning the way lead teachers have been trained and conditioned.
• Implementing lesson plans based on curriculum
• Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment
• Working with staff to ensure the program is kept clean at all times.
• Communicating with parents regularly about their child’s progress and issues that matter most to them
• Attend staff meetings, parent conferences, and other important events as required

Requirements:

• A college degree is preferred but not required. Early childhood education certification is an asset.
• At least one year of experience working in an educational setting preferred but not required.

Salary: DOE

Job Type: Part-time

• Monday to Friday

• Fair Lawn, NJ 07410: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)
• Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
