Preschool Teacher
The Learning Experience - Beltline is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Teacher to support children in a structured classroom environment focused on kindergarten readiness, independence, and social-emotional development.
This role is ideal for educators who enjoy guiding young learners through engaging routines, hands-on learning experiences, and classroom activities that build confidence and early academic foundations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate experiences that encourage early literacy and math readiness
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment
- Guide children through transitions including meals, rest time, and learning centers
- Encourage social-emotional growth and positive classroom participation
- Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom updates and progress
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior preschool or childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, patient, and nurturing approach to working with children
- Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
