We want to hear from you if you enjoy being a part of a school that instills a lifelong love of learning, are flexible to be scheduled between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and understand that learning is all around and that children learn best through play. Our teachers are responsible for adhering to strict Goddard Quality Assurance Standards as well as implementing their own lesson plans based on Goddard Developmental Goals and the Foundations for Young Children to the Indiana Academic Standards.

Teachers at the Goddard School must possess energy, patience, and a genuine love of children. We are only interested in hiring those who genuinely care about young children, want to help teach young children, and who are interested in long term employment.

Our Lead and Assistant Teachers work together:

*Developing lesson plans.

*Meeting the individual needs of the children.

*Communicating with Parents.

*Participating in staff and training meetings.

*Designing an appropriate room arrangement to support the goals and developmental level of the children in the classroom.

*Interacting with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.

*Presenting expectations that are appropriate to the child's age and developmental level.

*Planning and implementing activities that develop self-esteem and social skills.

*Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.

*Building teamwork.

*Using assessment tools.

*Committing to continuing education.

Education:

• High school or equivalent for Assistant teachers
• Associate preferred
• Bachelor's degree or a Masters preferred or number of years of experience.

The Goddard school of Granger is an early learning Center for children 6weeks to 6yrs old.
