Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our Christian Preschool team! You will be leading a Pre-K4 class of students through the school year, teaching about the love of Jesus Christ, Age appropriate Bible lessons and scripture, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students’ collective and individual needs using the Experience Curriculum, in addition to other add-ons to prepare students for Kindergarten.  

You are passionate and patient about helping students learn and reach their potential. With strong creative and problem-solving skills, you love connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment. 

Responsibilities

• Follow "The Experience" curriculum
• Teach Children Age Appropriate Bible Lessons and Scriptures
• Prepare children for Kindergarten
• Teach beginning reading and math skills
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
• Managing a teacher assistant if required
• Daily routine maintenance of room. (Cleaning)

Qualifications

• AAS or Bachelor's Degree preferred 
• 2 Years Lead Teacher experience 
• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problem-solving and mediation skills
