Due to professional advancement, Wauneta-Palisade Public School is seeking highly qualified applicants for an Elementary Teaching position for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking applicants with a positive attitude, desire to continually improve their skills as an educator, and a willingness to work in a collaborative professional environment. We are a 1:1 school district (K-12) where innovation in the classroom is encouraged. Middle school endorsements will be considered. The position could have a reading/social studies emphasis, or a regular elementary classroom teacher.

The Wauneta and Palisade communities are agricultural based, family oriented, welcoming communities located in the Frenchman River Valley in southwest Nebraska. These communities provide tremendous support for our school, programs, staff, and students. Outdoor activities are abundant and we are located between Enders Reservoir (10 miles west of Wauneta) and Swanson Reservoir (18 miles south of Palisade).
