We are seeking an energetic and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our team! You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their growth and learning, and creating curriculum to meet their developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement a comprehensive curriculum using the CT ELDS
- Teach children life long learning and social skills
- Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
- Communicate with parents and other school personnel
- Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, state teaching certification, and/or equivalent
- Strong understanding of child development principles, best practices in education and classroom management
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving and mediation skills
