Pay:$16–$20 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Preschool Teacher – Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create engaging learning experiences for children as they build confidence, independence, and kindergarten-readiness skills.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys leading classroom routines, supporting early academic development, and building strong relationships with children and families.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily preschool classroom routines and learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience’s L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Support early literacy, math readiness, problem-solving, and social-emotional development
- Create a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
- Guide children through learning centers, meals, outdoor play, and transitions
- Observe children’s progress and communicate regularly with families
- Collaborate with teaching team members and center leadership
- Follow Virginia childcare licensing and safety requirements
Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required
- Previous professional childcare or preschool experience required
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Dependable, organized, and team-oriented
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
