We are seeking a nurturing, dependable, and engaging Preschool Teacher to create a safe and positive learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will support the social, emotional, physical, and academic development of students through age-appropriate instruction, creative activities, and strong classroom management.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions
Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning
Monitor and document student progress and developmental milestones
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior
Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and educational materials
Support students with varying learning styles and developmental needs
Collaborate with staff and administration to support school goals and student success
Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
CDA (Child Development Associate) credential preferred
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage classroom behavior positively and effectively
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
