Our Vision and Philosophy
Vision
The vision of the Sunshine Center is to provide quality child care and to prepare our students for a life of learning. We believe that the first 6 years of life are critical to every child’s life. In these years the foundation for learning, social-emotional development, and how to function within a communal society are learned. Our goals are to help build a foundation upon which new academic skills can be learned, proper social responses can be taught, and working well with others can become a fundamental skill.
Philosophy
To help build a foundation for our children to function well in society, learn proper social etiquette and gain a proper academic base in a fun, loving and carefully crafted environment. Our play-based approach allows children to engage in many social opportunities. Our staff, trained to work in Early Childhood Education, know to observe, coach, and assist with social interactions. In addition, we look for interests in each of our children to help guide them through direct and indirect academic opportunities to ensure that they’re prepared for primary education.
