Responsibilities:
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.
- Track children’s progress and report to parents
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility. (preferred)
- EEC Certification (preferred)
- CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (preferred)

The Goddard School provides the foundation to encourage a child's lifelong love of learning .In our warm, caring atmosphere, dedicated teachers support the development of children from 6 weeks to 8 years old. Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule.
