    Hours: Full-time or part-time options available. PT: morning or afternoon shifts

    Responsibilities: 
    • Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children
    • Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
    • Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
    • Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, do crafts, etc.
    • Track children’s progress and report to parents
    • Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
    Qualifications
    • 1-2 years experience working in a licensed childcare facility. (preferred)
    • EEC Certification (preferred)
    • CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education (preferred)

Our year round program offers families the choice of either half day or full day schedule. We are delighted to be the on-site owners of The Goddard School on Theodore Street in Plainfield.
