Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour $1,000 Hiring Bonus
($500 paid at 45 days and $500 paid at 90 days. Must remain employed in good standing and meet attendance expectations.)

The Learning Experience Rivercrest is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher who loves working with children, values teamwork, and wants to grow professionally in a supportive and engaging school environment. If you are energetic, dependable, and committed to creating a positive learning experience for young children, we would love to meet you.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a classroom of preschool-aged children (Ages 3 years to 5 Years)
  • Teach Preschool with a co-teacher 
  • Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®
  • Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and coworkers
  • Communicate daily with families regarding their child's growth and development
  • Complete lesson plans, classroom documentation, and assessments
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Coach and support assistant teachers and support staff
  • Support center events, family engagement activities, and enrollment initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with Florida licensing, health and safety, and supervision requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Meet Florida DCF Teacher qualifications 
  • Formal Education, CDA, Staff Credential or other Early Childhood coursework, or related experience required
  • Experience in a licensed childcare center, preschool, or Early Learning environment required
  • CPR/First Aid Certification required
  • Ability to lift, carry 50lbs, and actively engage with children throughout the day to include sitting on the floor
