Preschool Teacher Required Qualifications as evidenced by an attached resume Associates degree foreign equivalent or higher or credit equivalent 60 credits or completion of an early childhood accredited course.
In lieu of the educational requirements, two 2 years of full-time professional experience in the field of Early Childhood will be considered. One 1 year of related childcare experience.
Preferred Qualifications Associates degree foreign equivalent or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field. Experience in a full day early childhood setting. Experience in a childcare setting.
Brief Description of Duties
This is an early childhood team teaching position based in a preschool multi-age grouping at Stony Brook Child Care Services Inc. (SBCCSI). The goal is to provide high quality care and education to children ranging in age from three to five years. Additionally, the Center is a practicum site for undergraduate interns who will be supervised and mentored by this staff person. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
