The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an opening for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond for a TEACHER in its Fairhaven preschool program.
POSITION:
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideal candidates must have a valid Ohio Early Childhood Intervention Specialist (ECIS) license or other Ohio licensure qualifying the individual to provide preschool special education services.
- A dual licensure in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention Specialist is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing instruction to students with developmental disabilities in approved or adapted curriculum areas.
- Developing and implementing daily lesson plans consistent with students'' Individual Education Plans and the general education curriculum guidelines.
- Maintaining classrooms conducive to learning.
- Conducting conferences with parents/guardians or other personnel.
