With deep roots in Western Massachusetts and a growing presence in communities throughout the state, we are currently seeking a Preschool Teacher to join our Kid Stop Children Center team and help advance our mission of empowering people to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The Kid Stop Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs are licensed and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Serving families in Ware and Palmer, Kid Stop provides high-quality care and education with small teacher-to-child ratios, structured curriculum, and a supportive environment for children’s growth and development.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that promote social, physical, and intellectual development

• Follow EEC-approved curriculum and daily schedules set by the Center Director

• Ensure a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment in compliance with licensing standards

• Support children’s daily routines including structured activities, free play, meals, and transitions

• Communicate effectively with parents, families, and staff regarding children’s progress and needs

• Maintain confidentiality of children, families, and staff

• Follow all EEC policies and procedures, including safety, behavior management, and special needs support

Who You Are:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Must meet EEC qualifications for School Age Group Leader

• 1+ year of childcare or classroom experience preferred

• CPR, First Aid, and Food Safety certification (or ability to obtain within 3 months)

• Flexible and adaptable to classroom needs and varying age groups

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
