This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Preschool Teacher, Pre-K Teacher, Early Childhood Educator, EEC Certified Teacher, Childcare Teacher, Daycare Teacher, or Lead Teacher who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education in a supportive, child-centered environment.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will guide children through important developmental milestones while fostering social-emotional growth, school readiness, creativity, and problem-solving skills. You'll join a collaborative team that values professional growth, strong family partnerships, and excellence in early childhood education.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging preschool classroom environment.
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and learning activities aligned with Massachusetts EEC guidelines and best practices in early childhood education.
- Support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development through hands-on learning experiences.
- Foster kindergarten readiness by encouraging early literacy, math, science, and critical-thinking skills.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe, assess, and document children's growth and developmental progress.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
- Use positive behavior guidance techniques to support a respectful and inclusive classroom culture.
- Collaborate with center leadership and fellow educators to ensure the highest quality educational experience for every child.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Qualified candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Massachusetts EEC Preschool Teacher Certification required.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Experience working in a licensed childcare center, preschool, daycare, or early learning program preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and creating meaningful learning experiences.
All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of all required Massachusetts background checks and EEC requirements.
- Pay range: $18–$24 per hour based on education, EEC certification level, and early childhood education experience
