About the Role:
Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is looking for a dependable and caring Preschool Transportation Driver to join our team! This is a rewarding opportunity to play a vital role in the safety and daily routine of our youngest learners as you help transport them to and from our center.



Responsibilities:

• Safely transport preschool-aged children to and from the learning center on scheduled routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus or van safety and compliance
• Assist children with boarding and exiting the vehicle safely
• Maintain accurate attendance and transportation logs for each route
• Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and center staff regarding pick-up and drop-off
• Follow all traffic laws, child passenger safety regulations, and center policies
• Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and properly maintained

Requirements:

• Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Must pass a background check and DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance
• Experience working with or transporting young children is a plus
• Patient, responsible, and attentive demeanor with a strong commitment to child safety
• Ability to follow schedules reliably and communicate professionally
