Keeping It Positive Learning Academy (KIPLA) is seeking a passionate, creative, dependable, and nurturing Preschool Educator who enjoys teaching and inspiring young learners!
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate weekly lesson plans.
Align instructional activities with the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS).
Create and maintain creative, educational, theme-based classroom bulletin boards.
Facilitate hands-on learning experiences that encourage creativity, exploration, and critical thinking.
Supervise outdoor play and promote physical development.
Incorporate literacy, math, science, art, and sensory activities into daily instruction.
Maintain an organized, safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Observe and document scholars' developmental progress.
Support positive behavior, social-emotional development, and independence.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with preschool-age children preferred.
Knowledge of GELDS and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
Ability to create and effectively implement structured lesson plans.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Creative, patient, energetic, and dependable.
Must meet Georgia childcare licensing and training requirements.
CDA, TCC, or Early Childhood Education credentials are a plus!
