Press Assistant - 3rd Shift

Press Assistant

Pay: $20-24/hr.

Shift: 6:00 PM–6:00 AM, 2-2-3 Rotation

Description:

• The Press Assistant will help the Printing Press Operators keep the press running and complete additional tasks in adequate time limits.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse work environment
• Mechanically inclined, ability to work with hands
• Machine operation experience is beneficial
• Ability to read a tape measure to a 1/16"
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis and up to 80 pounds if needed
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, twist, and use full dexterity of hands and fingers

Job Duties:

• Assist in keeping press running
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Tearing down and setting up jobs
• Loading and unloading of product
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Palletization, bagging, and tagging
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Must comply with all general Company-wide standard operating procedures (SOP's) and any job or department specific SOP's
• SOP's may cover the area of (but are not limited to):
• Employee Health & Safety
• SQF (Safe Quality Food packager) and GMP (good manufacturing procedures) focused on eliminating contaminates in all packaging manufactured
