Description for Press Assistant:

• Assist the lead operator with the setup, startup, and running of industrial printing presses.
• Perform material roll changes and manage the unwind/rewind lines efficiently.
• Conduct visual quality inspections for correct color accuracy, copy details, and alignment.
• Clean and sanitize press machinery, components, and tools thoroughly and independently.
• Maintain an organized workspace and follow all core shop safety protocols.

Details for Press Assistant:

• Pay Rate: $17.97/hour + Shift Differentials.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day (6am-2pm), Swing (2pm-10pm), or Graveyard (10pm-6am) options.
• Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire.

Requirements for Press Assistant:

• Entry-level opportunity—must be able to read work orders and accurately use a tape measure.
• Ability to consistently and repeatedly lift 50+ lbs throughout a physical shift.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and climbing stairs in a loud, high-volume environment.
• Comfortable working around strong ink, compound, and plastic manufacturing smells.
• Excellent attendance history and reliable daily transportation.
