Press Brake Operator – 3rd Shift - Weekend
HireCall is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our valued client’s Evening Team. This is a hands-on opportunity to produce high-quality sheet metal components using state-of-the-art CNC press brake equipment in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Pay: $19.44 – $24.00 per hour + 11.5% shift premium
Schedule: Friday - Sunday 6AM - 6PM
Enjoy a four-day workweek and three-day weekends every week!
Qualifications
Previous press brake, fabrication, or metal-forming experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Required Tools
Employees must own or be willing to purchase:
Certified 12" caliper
Tape measure
Angle finder
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC hydraulic press brake equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, sketches, and work instructions
Select and install the correct punches, dies, and tooling
Load and run CNC programs independently
Produce precision parts that meet tight-tolerance specifications
Deburr and finish parts as needed
Inspect completed work for quality
Use materials efficiently to minimize scrap and waste
Maintain a safe and organized work area
Physical Requirements
Approximately 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while operating equipment, inspecting work, and following procedures.
Move materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds
Use lifting devices whenever possible
Lift, pull, push, and hold parts in place
Some material handling may be required without mechanical assistance due to limited space around machinery
