We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our client’s team in Greenville, SC. As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in fabricating metal components for our material handling and storage solutions. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
Set-up, run and operate Press Brake for sheet metal operations.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics and how they relate to the finished product.
Familiarize yourself with and comply with all safety requirements and protocols for working in a hazardous environment.
Use computer touch interface with multiple menus and functions.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality objectives.
Load and Unload Materials.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Other Duties as assigned.
Requirements
Able to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, etc…
Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams, or schematics.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards.
Experience in inspection and quality of own product.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various positions and environments.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
1+ years Press Brake experience preferred. Manufacturing experience required.
Shift: 1st Shift 5am to 3:30pm Monday-FridayPay: DOE
