Press Brake Operator - 1st Shift
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
1st shift 5:00-3:30pm Mon-Thurs
Some Friday work about once a month 5:00AM-1PM

The Brake Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
Select proper tooling, dies, and materials for each job
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional and quality standards
Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
Basic math and mechanical aptitude
Attention to detail and quality
Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Standing, bending, and repetitive motion throughout shift
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Manufacturing/industrial setting
Exposure to noise, metal materials, and machinery
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Follow all safety policies and procedures
Communicate production issues or quality concerns to supervisors
Assist with general fabrication or production tasks as needed
