Summary of Duties and Responsibilities Operates press brake machines to bend and form metals to meet customer specification. Required Schedule: Monday-Thursday 3pm-1am Primary Duties and Responsibilities Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures. Confers with Press brake Set-up person regarding how job is to be run and what dimensions to maintain. Performs back gauge calibration and resets counters. Runs first piece and takes to inspection or certified operator for approval. After 1st piece approval adjust machines if necessary, seeking assistance from Set-up Person when needed, and runs job. Using measuring equipment, checks specified dimensions on parts and plots them on SPC charts to track quality of product and process. Fills out all required production paperwork and records.
