    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-time Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining press brake machines to produce high-quality metal components according to specifications. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Pay: $22-28/hr (DOE)

    Shift: 1st and 2nd | Monday - Friday 

    Responsibilities

    • Operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal sheets and plates according to blueprints and work orders
    • Set up and adjust press brake machines for different jobs, including selecting and installing appropriate dies and tooling
    • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine job specifications
    • Perform precise measurements using various measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
    • Calculate and apply mathematical formulas to determine bend allowances, angles, and other critical dimensions
    • Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and conformance to specifications
    • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on press brake machines as needed
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
    • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and improve efficiency

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator in a manufacturing environment
    • Proficient in operating various types of press brake machines, including CNC-controlled equipment
    • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
    • Excellent shop math skills, including the ability to perform calculations for bend allowances, angles, and dimensions
    • Experience with TRIG is a PLUS! 
    • Experience with different types of metals, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
    • Familiarity with quality control procedures and inspection techniques
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to press brake operation
    • Ability to use precision measuring tools accurately
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
    • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
    • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in metal fabrication is a plus
