Now Hiring Press Brake Operator

Location: Bethlehem, PA

Pay Rate: $21.50 per hour

Schedule: 3 PM - 11:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret job specifications, production documents, and work instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of press brake machine setup and operating experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Experience reading blueprints, measuring finished parts, and maintaining production quality standards.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems, make machine adjustments, and support workflow efficiency.
  • Strong teamwork, dependability, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production priorities and cross-train in other departments as needed.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during production shifts.
  • Frequent use of hands, arms, and manual dexterity to operate machinery and handle materials.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a fast-paced, high-noise manufacturing environment.
  • Strong close vision and focus adjustment capabilities for inspection and measurement tasks.

Job Duties

  • Set up and operate press brake machinery according to production specifications.
  • Read work orders and adjust machine settings, stops, and guides for accurate production.
  • Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, including lubrication and basic equipment care.
  • Stack, mark, package, and transport completed products.
  • Support departmental workflow and production goals while maintaining efficiency.
  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Assist with cross-training and provide production support in other manufacturing areas as needed.
