The Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual press brakes to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to precise engineering blueprints and job orders. This role plays a critical part in maintaining product quality, ensuring dimensional accuracy, and supporting overall throughput in high-precision manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation
Setup & Tooling: Select, install, and align correct dies, punches, and tooling based on material type, gauge thickness, and bend radii required.
Maintain clean and organized work spaces (5S standards) around press brake stations.
Identify and report defective material, program errors, or equipment malfunctions immediately to management.
