Press Brake Operator

We are currently seeking a Press Brake Assembler to join our Freehold, NJ team. This role will be responsible for the safe operation of the press brake machine involved in metal fabrication. This role is a long-term opportunity in a very busy facility.

Responsibilities:

• Check parts against print using proper QC measuring equipment.
• Load/unload machines and may check basic cross-reference information to assure correct part is being processed.
• Assure that basic quality checks are performed at specific intervals on machine parts.
• Perform routine maintenance on all machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Prepare and run complex setups and form operations. This includes custom punch modification used in combination with other tooling.
• Monitor machine operation to detect any issues or malfunctions.
• Read prints, set up and run various metal fabrication equipment.
• Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.
• Perform other related duties as required by Supervisor/Fabrication Manager

Job Qualifications:

• 2+ years of manufacturing work experience.

• 1+ years of press brake machinery experience. (preference on Trumpf press brake).
• Must be able to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Must be able to check and measure parts according to technical document specification. Use of measurement tools, calipers, micrometers, etc.
• Familiar with folding machines.

Work Shift (M-Th 7-4:30pm, Fri 7-11am)

Pay Rate $20-$23 hourly
