Starting Pay: $18/hr
Advance Services, Inc. is now hiring a Press Brake Operator in Galesburg, IL! We are looking for dependable candidates with manufacturing experience who are ready to join a growing team in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Duties
Set up and operate computer programmable/controlled brake press machines
Plan and layout bending sequences by referring to drawings and blueprints
Bend products and assemblies ranging from small/lightweight to large/heavyweight materials
Set up metal dies in preforming and forming operations
Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet operating requirements
Assist Engineering personnel with modifications, parts substitutions, and revisions
Perform quality control inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools accurately
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
