Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: Starting at $19.00/hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-Time

1st Shift: 6: 00 AM 2: 30 PM
2nd Shift: 2: 30 PM 12: 00 AM

During overtime, 1st shift may begin at 5: 00 AM and 2nd shift may work until 1: 00 AM.

Associated Staffing is hiring an experienced Press Brake Operator in Grand Island, NE! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with press brake, fabrication or metalworking experience who is looking for a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.
Press Brake Operator Responsibilities

• 
  Set up and operate press brake machines according to blueprints and specifications
  
• 
  Select, install and adjust proper tooling for each operation
  
• 
  Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  
• 
  Fabricate parts accurately according to customer specifications
  
• 
  Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring tools
  
• 
  Work with engineers to ensure customer orders are completed correctly and make adjustments when necessary
  
• 
  Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and production issues
  
• 
  Move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes and other authorized material-handling equipment
  
• 
  Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
  
• 
  Complete production reports and maintain accurate labor records
  
• 
  Assist and provide direction to less experienced team members as needed
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
  
• 
  Follow all safety procedures and use required safety equipment
  
• 
  Perform additional duties as assigned
  

What We re Looking For

• 
  Previous press brake, fabrication or related manufacturing experience
  
• 
  Ability to set up and operate press brake equipment
  
• 
  Strong blueprint and technical drawing reading skills
  
• 
  Experience using precision measuring tools
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and quality
  
• 
  Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  
• 
  Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
  
• 
  Willingness to work overtime as needed
