As a Press Brake Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and form metal parts with precision and consistency. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications, contributing directly to the company’s success.

What You’ll Do

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Set up, calibrate, and operate press brake machinery to form metal components according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and fabrication drawings to determine bend sequences and tooling requirements.
• Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings based on material type and thickness.
• Conduct test bends, make adjustments, and ensure production parts meet quality standards and tolerances.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and conformity across quality metrics.
• Maneuver and position raw materials manually or with overhead cranes and forklifts following safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including measurement logs and part identification.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards to promote a safe work environment.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Prior experience with press brake operation is preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and bend allowances.
• Strong measurement, math, and dimensional accuracy skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely with large metal parts and fabrication equipment.
• Comfort working with overhead cranes, forklifts, and other machinery.
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a proactive work ethic.
