ASGCO offers a competitive wage, OT and an excellent benefits package that includes options for healthcare coverage, 401(k) plan, vacation and paid holidays.Responsibilities:Load proper tooling into press brake by entering instructions, setting tool registers, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry and trigonometryVerifies setting by measuring positionMaintains specifications by observing machine operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; and adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processesMust be familiar and able to set up and operate other sheet metal forming equipment as job requirements demandEnsuring you adhere to all ASGCO policies and proceduresFollowing and accountable for Safety policy and proceduresWhen necessary, provide training on all aspects of the press brakeMaintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicle, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required itemsCoordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects/work orders efficiently.Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required itemWork well with limited supervisionOperate a company vehicleResponds to emergency situations as needed and/or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concernsOther responsibilities as seen fit by managementQualifications:2+ years of experience as a press brake operatorValid Driver's LicenseHave knowledge of basic math or geometryRead a variety of manuals and following prescribed formats with the ability to inform others and solve practical problemsStrong attention to detail and good interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced dynamic environmentCan lift up to 50lbs, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time, significant fine finger dexterityWorking Conditions:Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelinesPossible exposure extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particlesWhile performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.May be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workdayPersonal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, which may include a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.ASGCO, Inc promotes a drug/alcohol free work environment using mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing.May be required to work overtime on as needed bases.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
