Press Brake / Punch Operator (CNC Fabrication)

We’re looking for a skilled Press Brake / Punch Operator to help transform raw materials into high-quality finished components using advanced CNC equipment. What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate press brakes, horizontal bending machines, turret punches, and inline punching equipment
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements
- Select appropriate tooling (dies, punches, accessories) for each job
- Program, edit, and adjust CNC machine controls to ensure precision and efficiency
- Monitor machine performance and inspect parts throughout production to maintain quality standards
- Measure finished components using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and laser inspection systems
- Perform deburring, grinding, and finishing to ensure a clean, accurate final product
- Troubleshoot issues and make real-time adjustments to maintain production flow
- Safely move materials using forklifts or pallet jacks
- Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in top working condition
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuously improve processes
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience operating and setting up press brakes or similar CNC equipment
- Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of fabrication processes
- Ability to select proper tooling and calculate bend allowances for various materials
- Experience editing CNC programs and making machine adjustments
- Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct out-of-spec measurements
- Solid math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and standing
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
