Press Brake / Punch Operator (CNC Fabrication)

We’re looking for a skilled Press Brake / Punch Operator to help transform raw materials into high-quality finished components using advanced CNC equipment. What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate press brakes, horizontal bending machines, turret punches, and inline punching equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine dimensions, tolerances, and setup requirements
  • Select appropriate tooling (dies, punches, accessories) for each job
  • Program, edit, and adjust CNC machine controls to ensure precision and efficiency
  • Monitor machine performance and inspect parts throughout production to maintain quality standards
  • Measure finished components using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and laser inspection systems
  • Perform deburring, grinding, and finishing to ensure a clean, accurate final product
  • Troubleshoot issues and make real-time adjustments to maintain production flow
  • Safely move materials using forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment in top working condition
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace using 5S principles
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and continuously improve processes

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience operating and setting up press brakes or similar CNC equipment
  • Strong blueprint reading skills and understanding of fabrication processes
  • Ability to select proper tooling and calculate bend allowances for various materials
  • Experience editing CNC programs and making machine adjustments
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and correct out-of-spec measurements
  • Solid math, measurement, and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, twisting, reaching, and standing
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
