Job Title: Press Machine Operator - 1st ShiftLocation: Roebuck, SCPay: $18-$23 per hour DOEShift: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday)Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Press Machine Operator to join our team in Roebuck, SC! As a Press Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running parts through press machines in a safe and efficient manner, while monitoring machine performance and reporting any irregularities to the maintenance department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Perform standard press operations to support production goals
* Monitor machine operation and report defects, malfunctions, or questionable conditions to the Plant Manager
* Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures
* Understand basic machine functions to properly operate equipment
* Work closely with supervisors and accept frequent guidance and assistance during machine setup
* Use calipers (dial or digital) and demonstrate accurate measurement skills
* Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
* Follow production routers/work instructions
* Perform basic math calculations as needed for measurements and setup
* Use handheld measuring tools and other basic shop tools
* Perform basic machine setups and tooling adjustments
Qualifications:* Experience with press machines or manufacturing equipment preferred
* Ability to read calipers and measuring tools
* Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings
* Basic math and mechanical aptitude
* Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
