Job Full Description

Job Summary:
  • Set up and run complex bend and forming operations on Cincinnati and Amada Press Brakes.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling to achieve specified dimensions and part geometry.
  • Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications with minimal supervision.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and complete routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Operate additional manufacturing equipment such as rolls, overhead cranes, Whitney punch presses, Pem machines, and hand tools as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Adhere to quality and safety programs, including ISO-9001 standards.
  • Participate fully in and support the Metro Fab. Quality System.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of press brake operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and press brake tooling.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, layouts, and work instructions.
  • Good math skills; capable of using tape measures, rulers, and squares accurately.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and twisting.
  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
