Press / Mold Operator

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Mentor, OH to hire a Mold / Press Operator (Injection Molding). We are hiring for all shifts with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00/hour based on shift (1st shift: $17/hr | 2nd & 3rd shift: $18/hr). This role focuses on operating injection molding equipment, producing high-quality parts, and supporting efficient, safe manufacturing processes in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate injection molding presses and secondary equipment to produce parts to quality standards
• Inspect, trim, coat, bond, and package molded parts according to procedures
• Follow job instructions and specifications to ensure product quality
• Detect and report defective materials and accurately track scrap
• Operate secondary equipment such as sonic welders and adhesive bonding tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S standards
• Set up new jobs and operate multiple machines as needed
• Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel
• Demonstrate safe use of hand tools and equipment

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and small parts
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
• Reliable attendance and a positive, flexible attitude
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs frequently, and working in a manufacturing environment
